AITO M5 has been officially launched, featuring major adjustments in configuration and design details. This time, the new car is available in two versions: extended range and pure electric. In terms of appearance, the AITO M5 hybrid auto adopts a closed front design with L-shaped daytime running lights integrated into the headlights on both sides. The front surround features vertically arranged ventilation openings on both sides and a central heat dissipation opening. Additionally, the new car offers two new paint colors, Tahitian Gray and Metropolitan Red, and introduces an RS version with some small detail changes.

The overall lines of the AITO M5 body are very smooth, and it is equipped with hidden door handles to reduce wind resistance. The AITO M5 Extended Range Max uses 19-inch wheels, fitted with Pirelli P ZERO high-performance tires and low rolling resistance silent tires.

At the rear, the AITO M5 PHEV SUV continues to use a through-type taillight design, with the AITO letters in the middle blackened, and features a large-size spoiler that adds a sporty touch. The blackened rear surround enhances the simplicity of the overall design. In terms of body size, the new car measures 4785mm in length, 1930mm in width, and 1625mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2880mm.

In terms of the interior, the AITO M5 features a full LCD instrument panel and a double-spoke multi-function steering wheel. It is equipped with Shuyun seats, significantly enhancing the riding comfort. The new car is powered by the latest Kirin 990B car chip with higher computing power and runs on the Hongmeng Cockpit 4.0 system. It also includes AI smart body "ring scattering" light and shadow acoustic features integrated with the Huawei SOUND audio system. Additional configurations include electric sunshades, double-layer laminated silent glass, Shuyun soft headrests, and three interior color options.

For power options, the AITO M5 offers both extended range and pure electric versions. The Extended Range Max RWD model discussed in this article is equipped with a 1.5T range extender. The rear-wheel drive version has a maximum motor power of 200 kilowatts and a peak torque of 360 Nm. The vehicle is fitted with a 42kWh ternary lithium battery, providing a comprehensive range of 1,440 kilometers and a pure electric range of 255 kilometers.
